9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Dear friends,

The 9th Annual Greenwood Financial Group Charity Golf Tournament was a tremendous success again this year. With the generous contributions of 19 corporate sponsors and tournament partners, we raised $18,000–an all-time high. One hundred percent of the proceeds went to benefit the kids at The First Tee of Greater Richmond and VCU Athletics.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible. We appreciate your participation and continued support for our community.

About the Charity

The mission of The First Tee of Greater Richmond is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

The First Tee benefits our community by positively influencing behaviors of young people and inspiring adults to mentor, coach, volunteer, donate to the cause, and uphold the mission. It's through these efforts that youths become more prepared to make sound decisions, exercise good character, and live satisfying, productive lives in which they can give back to the community.
